친구친구 Terms of Service

Article 1 (Purpose)

These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern the relationship between Constacts, Inc (the "Company") and users regarding the use of the 친구친구 messaging service (the "Service"), including rights, obligations, responsibilities, and other necessary matters.

Article 2 (Definitions)

The terms used in these Terms are defined as follows:

Article 3 (Effect and Amendment of Terms)

1. These Terms shall be effective for all Users who wish to use the Service.

2. The Company may amend these Terms as necessary within the scope of applicable laws, and any amendments will be announced through notices within the Service.

3. Users have the right not to agree to the amended Terms, and if they do not agree, they may discontinue using the Service and withdraw their membership.

Article 4 (Provision and Modification of Service)

Article 6 (Membership Registration)

1. Users apply for membership registration by filling in member information according to the registration form established by the Company and expressing their intention to agree to these Terms.

2. The Company shall register as a member any User who applies for membership as described in Paragraph 1, unless any of the following applies:

Article 7 (Withdrawal and Loss of Membership)

1. Users may apply for termination of the service agreement at any time through account settings within the Service, and the Company shall process it immediately in accordance with applicable laws.

2. The Company may terminate the service agreement or suspend Service use for a specified period without prior notice if the User falls under any of the following:

1. Users shall not engage in the following activities:

Article 9 (Company Obligations)

1. The Company shall not engage in acts prohibited by applicable laws and these Terms or contrary to public order and morals, and shall do its best to provide continuous and stable Service.

2. The Company shall establish a security system to protect personal information (including credit information) so that Users can use the Service safely, and shall disclose and comply with its Privacy Policy.

3. The Company shall address opinions or complaints raised by Users regarding Service use if deemed legitimate.

Article 10 (Protection of Personal Information)

1. The Company shall make efforts to protect Users' personal information in accordance with applicable laws.

2. Applicable laws and the Company's Privacy Policy shall apply to the protection and use of personal information.

Article 11 (Attribution and Restriction of Copyrights)

1. Copyrights and other intellectual property rights for works created by the Company belong to the Company.

2. Users shall not use information obtained through the Service, for which intellectual property rights belong to the Company, for commercial purposes by reproduction, transmission, publication, distribution, broadcasting, or other methods without the Company's prior consent, nor allow third parties to use such information.

Article 12 (Disclaimer)

1. The Company shall be exempt from liability for providing the Service if unable to do so due to force majeure such as natural disasters.

2. The Company shall not be liable for Service disruptions caused by the User's fault.

3. The Company shall not be liable for Users' loss of expected profits from using the Service or for damages resulting from materials obtained through the Service.

4. The Company shall not be liable for the reliability, accuracy, or content of information, materials, and facts posted by Users on the Service.

Article 13 (Dispute Resolution)

1. The Company shall prioritize processing complaints and opinions submitted by Users. However, if prompt processing is difficult, the Company shall notify Users of the reason and processing schedule.

2. Disputes between the Company and Users may be subject to mediation by the Electronic Transaction Dispute Resolution Committee established pursuant to Article 28 of the Framework Act on Electronic Commerce and Article 15 of its Enforcement Decree.

Article 14 (Jurisdiction and Governing Law)

1. These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea.

2. In the event of a dispute between the Company and Users regarding Service use, both parties shall negotiate in good faith to resolve the dispute.

3. If the dispute is not resolved through the negotiation in Paragraph 2, both parties may file a lawsuit with the competent court under the Civil Procedure Act.

Supplementary Provisions

These Terms shall be effective from January 1, 2025.
